Friends! Energy independence is increasingly a concern for Ukrainians and we receive many of your inquiries regarding the implementation of your own solar power plant. Among other things, many of us live in large cities and the possibilities of energy independence are limited. Therefore, today we would like to talk about one of the alternative options for placing solar panels, namely using the area of your balconies to install energy supply systems.
There are four key components that are necessary for safe and effective your balcony solar system works. Each piece of equipment is as important as the next, each playing a crucial role in energy production:
Solar panels: Naturally, solar panels are the stars of the show, absorbing light from the sun and converting it into DC power, which then goes to a microinverter for re-conversion. This energy can also be stored in a battery.
Mounting rack: A mounting rack is a frame that helps secure your solar panels to your balcony.
Microinverter: This is the component that brings the magic right into your home. It converts the DC electricity produced by solar panels into AC electricity ready for use in your home.
AC power cable. Allows you to plug your system into a power outlet and connect it to your home network.
The specific number of components and size of the solar system will depend on the user's needs and how much energy needs to be produced.
However, these are the standard items you will need for a fully functional solar PV system on your balcony.
